Kale Chips - Sweet Curry

Kale is incredible NUTRIENT DENSE! One Cup contains almost 700% of your required daily value of Vitamin K, 200% of Vitamin A, and 134% of Vitamin C! It also has 3 grams of protein and is rich in Minerals, Fibre, and Antioxidants.



  • 2 Bunches of Kale - washed and dried well

  • 1 tsp Sea Salt

  • 2 Tbsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

  • ¼ Cup Coconut Flakes

  • ¼ Cup Sunflower Seeds

  • 1 Tbsp Lime Juice

  • 2 Majool Dates (or 4 Bahri Dates)

  • 3 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast

  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1 tsp Chili Powder

  • ½ tsp Onion Powder

  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder



  1. PREHEAT oven to 300 degrees.

  2. LINE baking sheets with parchment paper.

  3. DESTEM the kale and TEAR into pieces.

  4. ADD all the ingredients [except the kale!] into a food processor and blend well.

  5. MASSAGE the mixture into the kale and spread kale in a single layer on the baking sheets.

  6. BAKE until crispy, about 25 minutes, tossing once around ten minutes.(Convection Oven? Only bake for 12 minutes).


Top Tips

  • Make sure the kale is fully dry before coating with oil!

  • Cool for just three minutes on the baking sheet.
