The Best Products for an Easy Routine & Flawless Skin

Are you looking for some amazing beauty products that are non-toxic? Check out the list below for what I use daily. And if you have any questions (or want help selecting products) feel free to contact me or try out this 1-minute skincare survey.

My Morning Skincare Routine

  • Cleanser (AM) - I simply use water. Why do I skip a morning cleansing product? Because I oil cleanse at night (which eliminates the need to cleanse in the morning! #easybutton)

  • Exfoliator - Satin Facial Scrub Mint by Young Living – this gentle exfoliator with jojoba beads smells so incredible! I only use this 2 x weekly.

  • Toner - Rose & Frankincense Flower Water by Helena Lane – so refreshing. The rose and frankincense support skin regeneration, anti-aging, and healing. // When I switch things up and want something luxurious I use Beautycounter’s Nourishing Rose Mist - This mist feels soooo good on my skin. It’s refreshing and even softens your skin. (Are you getting the hint that rose is amazing for the skin?)

  • Eye Cream - Nourishing Eye Cream by Beautycounter – an unscented eye moisturizer that’s great for sensitive skin.

  • Face Moisturizer - Countermatch Adaptive Lotion by Beautycounter – finally a moisturizer I’m in love with. It absorbs instantly, makes my skin feels hydrated, and works on fine lines.

A Simple Evening Routine

  • Cleanser - Lavender & Lime Oil Cleanser by Helena Lane – this is the most soothing product I’ve ever used on my face (and it smells so good!). When Helena introduced me to oil cleansing it dramatically changed the health of my skin for the better! This was the golden product. // Another favorite oil cleanser is the best selling Cleansing Balm by Beautycounter – which is truly one of the best oil cleansers in the market. Try it and you’ll know why. This balm is the bomb! A cleanser, moisturizer, mask, cracked heal relief, and more! (Ps – read more here about oil cleansing and why it’s the best thing ever for your skin.)

  • Peel - Overnight Resurfacing Peel by Beautycounter – If you want to wake up to smoother skin this is THE product! It’s incredible. I’ve seen it help with dull skin, dry skin, large pores, and skin tone. I use it about 3x weekly. After cleanings, gently apply and allow it to fully absorb before layering on a night serum or moisturizer. Ps – it’s even safe for sensitive skin.

  • Charcoal Mask - No. 3 Balancing Facial Mask by Beautycounter – this charcoal mask is shockingly amazing! I wasn’t much of a mask person… now I am. Gentle enough for my sensitive and dry skin… BUT also powerful enough to purify oily skin and minimize pores! I use it 1x weekly, but oilier skin will benefit from using it 3x weekly.

  • Serum / Face Oil - No. 1 Brightening Facial Oil by Beautycounter – Simply the best thing ever for dry or dull skin. It smells like oranges and replenishes my skin. Its also available in a plumping (anti-aging) and balancing formula (acne or sensitive)

Makeup Routine

Most days I keep things pretty simple with just a brow pencil and a little concealer. But if I’m going out, here’s “the works” (which literally only takes me 5 minutes!)

  • Tint Skin Foundation by Beautycounter (light to medium coverage) – I wear Linen in the winter and in summer I mix it with Sand. This foundation is the product that attracted me to Beautycounter. It’s lightweight, buildable, and long lasting! #topseller // Other times I wear Savvy Minerals Powder Foundation by Young Living (for when I need a full coverage) – I wear Warm No. 2. I love wearing this foundation for an airbrushed finish. Note – this must be applied with their brush spray.

  • Concealer Pen by Beautycounter – Click, cover, and correct. I wear Light. It’s soooo easy to apply and doesn’t sit in my fine lines. Goodbye dark under eye circles for tired mamas.

  • Satin Blush by Beautycounter – I wear Nectar. This blush is very pigmented and lasts forever. Nectar is the prettiest colour and matches so many skin tones perfectly.

  • Brow Pencil by Beautycounter – I wear light. Its easy to apply and blend. (There’s also a brow gel that’s pretty neat too!).

  • Velvet Eyeshadow Pallete by Beautycounter – I most often wear classic. This new formula is the most luxurious, highly-pigmented, and long lasting eyeshadows I have ever used! They get a 5 star review from me.

  • Lip Gloss – I wear Bare Shimmer and Peony the most. I was not a lip gloss girls before, but after discovering Beautycounter’s lip gloss, I never leave the house without it in my pocket.

  • Daily Shampoo by Beautycounter – I only wash my hair 2x weekly and this really gets it clean. (And get this, each bottle lasts me over 7 months!)

  • Lavender Mint Daily Conditioner by Young Living – makes my hair silky smooth.

  • Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint Pure Castile Soap by Dr. Bronner’s – my favorite body wash and shaving foam. This stuff lasts forever when you pour it into a foaming soap dispenser (1/4 soap and ¾ water).

  • Lavender Hand & Body Lotion by Young Living – my tried and true favorite body lotion. I’ve been using it since 2014 and always go back to it after trying other lotions.

  • Jasmine Tea Sensitive Skin Deodorant by Schmidt – currently my fav deodorant because its gentle on my sensitive skin and actually works.

Do you have any faves you’d recommend? I’d love to know what’s working for your skin (or what isn’t working) so that I can pass the knowledge onto others!

Thanks for all your love in continually asking questions and challenging me to dig deeper.
